What you’ll actually be doing:

– Run the whole show when it comes to cement production. That means planning, organizing, and making sure everything’s not just running, but running right—safe, smooth, and not blowing the budget.
– Build production schedules and actually hit those targets—daily, weekly, monthly. No slacking on quality, either.
– Boss around (in a good way) the production crew—shift supervisors, operators, the whole gang. Make sure they’re trained up, show up, and actually perform.
– Get nerdy with the Digital Control Systems (DCS) to keep an eye on machines and make sure the product’s top-notch.
– Safety first, always. Plus, all that environmental stuff and ISO quality standards—yeah, you gotta care about that, too.
– Work hand-in-hand with maintenance folks so machines don’t break down every five minutes. Preventive, corrective, all that jazz.
– Raw materials? Finished goods? Inventory? You’ll be in the mix with procurement and logistics to make sure nothing runs out or piles up.
– Dive into data and reports. If something’s off, you’ll find it, fix it, or at least make a bunch of noise until it gets sorted.
– Build a team that knows safety isn’t optional and actually wants to show up to work.
– SAP is your playground for tracking production numbers and costs. If you don’t know SAP, you’ll drown.
– Make sure inventory numbers are actually real, not just someone’s guess.

What you bring to the table:

– Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering (or close enough—if you’ve got the chops, we’ll talk).
– 5–8 years grinding away in cement production or something so close we can squint and not tell the difference.
– You need to actually speak English well. Hindi’s a nice bonus, but not a dealbreaker.

Skills? Yeah, you’ll need these:

– You get cement production—like, you really get it. Optimization, process tweaks, the works.
– Led a team before? Good. Multicultural teams are a plus because Dubai’s a melting pot.
– Can you talk to people and not put them to sleep? You’ll need that.
– Excel, PowerPoint, and all the usual computer stuff—better be more than just “I know how to open a file.”
– SAP in production/cost control—don’t fake it.
