Job Summary:

A reliable and organized Logistics Coordinator – Passenger Transport is required to work with our company. As a Logistics Coordinator – Passenger Transport, you will be primarily responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing daily passenger transportation services & flows. This includes optimal fleet use and passenger safety, high-quality service, as well as compliance with operational standards. structuring schedules, assigning use of conducted, routine trips and other requirements.The ideal candidate will have professional experience (2-4 years) as a transport coordinator, fleet manager, or in a similar position, will have the initiative to work independently, and will thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment.

Key Duties:

  • Coordinate and manage operational transportation duties and daily scheduling of passenger transport services and activities involving a range of routes and travel schedules at multiple locations;
  • Assess fleet availability, outdated service and maintenance schedules and frequency of driver/vehicles scheduled
  • Monitor and report on ​​transport activity, transport performance, service and delivery quality; Where required.
  • Identify and ensure compliance with all safety, company standards, and regulatory guidelines;
  • Communicate with other affected departments relating to transportation issues at sites where we provide passenger transport services to third party clients, sellers, suppliers, contractors, service providers, or public sector/private sector employees;
  • Report on monthly and quarterly KPIs involving operational standards and productivity with respect to transport scheduling
  • Maintain accurate records of all transport activity schedules relating to vehicle mileage recorded, fuel expenditure, distance travelled and driver performance.
  • When required assist with maintaining budgetary and spending controls needed to manage logistics transport operations.

Key Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in logistics, transportation, supply chain. Or a similar subject (preferred).
  • Past experience (2 – 4 years preferable and recent) as either a transport Coordinator or in a transport role like
  • Fleet Management/Transport Management or similar in logistics.
  • With excellent organizational, planning, multi-tasking, and matching skills.
