Digital Banking Product Lead Job| Arab Bank Careers 2025

JOB DESCRIPTION

This role’s primary responsibility is to maximize the value of digital products and services including but not limited to mobile banking, open banking and AI by defining requirements, and collaborating closely with stakeholders and the development team to close linked projects.

Accountabilities and Key Roles:

Participate in Product Vision and Strategy:

  • Align with GCC countries and global digital team on the product vision and strategy.
  • Maintain a clear roadmap and ensure it aligns with customer needs and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze feedback and market trends.

Product Backlog Management:

  • Create, prioritize, and manage the product backlog to ensure the development team works on tasks that add maximum value.
  • Write clear and actionable user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for all product-related inquiries.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand business objectives, challenges, and opportunities where AI can add value.
  • Translate these needs into problem statements or hypotheses that can be addressed with AI and data science solutions.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand their requirements and manage expectations.
  • Communicate product updates and changes effectively to all relevant parties.

User Experience and Market Analysis:

  • Conduct competitor analysis to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
  • Work with UX/UI designers to ensure that the product offers a seamless and user-friendly experience.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams for product launches and go-to-market strategies through effective customer engagement plans

 

Testing and Experimentation:

  • Execute experiments to test the effectiveness of AI-driven recommendations and validate model performance.
  • Ensure that the delivered product meets quality standards and acceptance criteria by conducting related UATs.
  • Identify areas for improvement and suggest enhancements based on performance metrics and user feedback.

Job Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or any related field from a recognized university.
  • Advanced degrees or certifications in Product Management or Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner) are a plus.

Experience:

  • 4-6 years of experience in a related job function

Key Competencies:

  • Decision-Making: Capable of making informed decisions under pressure.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable with shifting priorities and navigating ambiguity.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of agile processes and product development lifecycle.
  • Ability to interpret data and model outputs to draw meaningful business insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills for data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing tasks.

Preferred skills:

  • Experience in using product management tools like Jira, or Azure DevOps.
  • Knowledge of software development principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with UX/UI design principles.
  • Familiarity with digital offering in GCC area.
