Admission Specialist , Grades 6 – 12| American School Dubai
Position Summary:
The Admission Specialist, Grades 6-12 is responsible for the coordination of all aspects of the admission and enrollment processes for families interested in Grades 6-12. They will report to the Director of Admissions & Advancement and will work closely with the Admissions Office, Grades 6-12. The Admission Specialist (AS), Grades 6-12 is expected to engage in ongoing professional development, to be an active member of the institutional advancement team, and to regularly attend both entire school and division faculty meetings.
Primary Responsibilities:
Coordinate all aspects of the admission and enrollment processes for prospective families applying for Grades 6-12.
Successfully implement strategic components of the Enrollment Management Plan (EMP) for Grades 6-12 admission and enrollment.
Engage local feeder schools and community organizations to build awareness about ASD.
Support the management of the Parent Ambassador Program, including identification, recruitment, and ongoing professional development of its members.
Manage Student Ambassador program for admissions.
Work collaboratively with the Middle and High School teams to manage personnel, timeline, and procedures for admission committees.
Work collaboratively with the Principals to ensure a smooth and successful transition for students.
Work with the Director of Admissions & Advancement to create a long-term strategic enrollment management plan for grades 6-12.
Work collaboratively with the Admission Specialist (Grades PreK-Grade 5) in regards to scheduling and facilitating processes and timelines.
Be a visible, professional figure in the ASD community.
Perform such other duties as assigned by the Director of Admissions & Advancement.

Job Skills and Requirements:
Completion of Certified Admission and Enrollment Professional (CAEP) Level 1 by November 1, 2025.
Experience in customer service (preference given to those with independent school experience)
College or professional degree preferred.
Previous experience working in an educational institution preferred, in a related field.
Exceptional communication skills.
Professional presentation.
Knowledge and proficiency using productivity software packages (ie Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, etc.).
Tactful and professional social emotional skills and disposition.
Works well under pressure, with the ability to take initiative and maintain a flexible schedule.
Well-organized, detail oriented, with multitasking ability.
Pleasant and patient in dealing with faculty, students, and parents.
Terms of Employment:
General working hours are from 7:45 am – 3:45 pm, Monday through Thursday and 7:45 am – 12:45 pm (on site) & 2:30 pm – 3:45 pm (remote/flexible) on Fridays. In some cases, flexibility with work hours is requested to meet the needs of the role.
